My New Build (Thoughts?)

DakeDravis

So, it's been a pretty long journey building this computer, but I have to say that I enjoyed every second of it. That's something that you can't get with just ordering a computer offline or buying one in store, or even getting a console. Building a computer, actually crafting it and putting so much time an effort into it is unbelievably worth the time. Anyway, here are my system specifications. This is my first computer build, so be gentle; however, I would like some feedback.

OS: Windows 8.1 Pro

CPU: Intel i7 4790K 4.0 GHz

GPU: EVGA GTX 980 SC (Stock)

RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 2400 MHz 8 GB (4x2)

Motherboard: EVGA z97 FTW

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

PSU: Antec HCG-M 750 watt

SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 120 GB

Hard Drive: Western Digital Black 1 TB

Optical Drive: Standard ASUS

Case: Corsair Graphite 230T

Mouse: EVGA Torq X10

Keyboard: Redragon Asura (Getting a K70 Soon)

Monitor: ASUS VX248

Extra Fans: Corsair High Performance SP120 Twin Pack

Here is a picture I took of the inside of the case (Cable management could have been better...ALOT better.) - http://puu.sh/hl8NR/a4c0b1d4c2.jpg

So what do you think? What should I have done differently? What did I do right? Thanks for reading this post! Can't wait to hear feedback.

Amazing how many of these first time builders go all out. When I first did this, although it was a little different back then, I was bricking it in case I managed top balls up components. Hence when low end first...

Anyway, agreed, cable management has never been my strong point, but it's importent for sweet airflow as much as aesthetics. This next build 'm doing currently, everything will be aimed at cleanliness and style inside the case
