AMD FX 8350 overclock guide

You can check my build in my signature down below. I'm currently running my 8350 on stock cooling eagerly waiting to overclock it once I buy the proper 3d party heatsink/cooler. Any suggestions for suitable or even ideal cooling for the particular cpu? My mobo is up to the task I think.

Mobo: Gigabyte 970A-DS3P CPU: AMD FX 8350 RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury DDR3 8gb (2x4gb@1600Mhz) GPU: Gigabyte R9 280x (factory oc) PSU: Thermaltake SmartSE 730w Case: Corsair 200R

Try 4.8 GHz on 1.45v. It works on my FX-8320, which is a lower binned FX-8350.

Intel Core i7-5820K (4.4 GHz) | Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming | Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB  | 2x 360mm Custom Loop (Noctua iPPC) | ASRock X99 Extreme6 | Samsung 840 EVO 250GB | Fractal Design Define S | Corsair HX750 | Windows 10 | Corsair M65 RGB PRO | Corsair K70 RGB LUX (CherryMX Brown) | Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro & Creative Sound Blaster Z | Nexus 6P (32GB Aluminium) | Check out my setup: Project Kalte Here!

I see, thanks for the input!

I would recommend a decent water cooler as they seem to perform better when overclocked compared to air.

Don't quote me on that tho..

I know but I was looking for something less of a hassle to be honest. If I can get at least 4.4 Ghz and above with air I'm satisfied tbh.

Yeah, Be quiet! Shadow Rock 2 looks nice, also affordable here in Greece.
