GTA 5 - Bad framerates!

I have the R9 270X TOXIC

and the FX-6300.

 

Playing GTA 5 in default graphics settings is below 30fps and I cannot play! PLease help!?

Lower the settings, specifically the population density and the render distance, since your cpu seems to be the problem here.

MacBook Pro 15' 2018 (Pretty much the only system I use)

Can not say this enough. Turning off V sync will alot along with AA

The time you enjoy wasting, is not wasted time.

@mustafaali61 said he go about 60 fps with an FX 6300 and GTX 660  (on 1600x900 though)

Turn down population/traffic/(whatever they called it in English) density

This is a signature.

AA is MSAA, FXAA, and there are some more options that end with AA

Vsync OFF.

Also, go in advanced graphic options and turn everything off, and the sliders to minimum.

I cant find AA? Should I also turn off vsync?

 

This is listed ingame as FXAA and MSAA.

 

Turn MSAA off as it's more intensive.

What about cpu and gpu load? Check with msi afterburner how their load is, and their temps.

GPU is 38 degrees and how do I check cpu load and temp on msi afterburner??

there should be some graphs, you can also use gpuz. it should say something like gpu1 load % under it, will have the max load, aswell as max core speeds. 

did you turn down the setting posted above?

population density and the render distance, texture setting lowered. no aa, no fxaa , no msaa, no advanced setting. pretty much turn everything off and then slowly turn things back on till you get the framerate you want. what was mentioned are the big one as far as we know.

Okay, I done all of that but still framerates at around 24
