Suggestions on a new headset

I am having a budget of 30$ for a gaming headset. I can't spend more because I am already on the threshold of a tablet upgrade and my dad won't allow to get an expensive beadset because of that. I currently use 5.1 Speakers but I need loud sound and if I speakers loud no one else could watch TV nearby so I thought of getting a headset. I prefer headsets with USb connectivity. I am currently looking at Zebronics Iron Headset which looks nice and as per reviews sound good and feeks good. I prefer headsets with good bass. So if U guys have any other suggestions tell me. Thanks

They cost 4 times the cost of my budget here in India. I personally don't know the difference between headphones and headset

Seriously? The modmic costs more than $30 .. he got only $30 for HEADSET.

Generaly Headsets = Headphones + Inbuild mic and those usualy sux compared to standalone mic + standalone headphones for the same price.

 

Maybe get Zalman mic and some $25 headphones ?

I don't care about mic. My webcam has one built in for some light video chat. I just care about good bass and some gaming themed looks. The Zebronics Iron costs around 35$ here which I am ok with and is also USB powered cuz I have removed my front panel 3.5 jack wires to make the build look tidy

Logitech G430?   Or G230?  I know it might be over your budget but its the best I can suggest and I would hope you could afford them, over here in NZ prices are EXTREMERLY bloated!  So, I would hope you are speaking US dollars and you could probably afford them.

Then what about Koss Porta Pro?

I had them, they sound great for $30 headphones the only thing that bothered me is that my hairs got often stuck in the slider to adjust size of headband when I was puting them on but other than that they were great.

They got really good and strong bass too.
