RAM Choice.

Go to solution Solved by Glenwing,

Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H would probably be the best fit for that.  Has a few blue accents on it but not too much.  Rest is black and silver.

Okay so im building my own pc.. and there is soo many different types of ram.. I understand cl and different speeds but I was wondering what you guys run. (I what 16gb on two dims so I can upgrade to 32 in the future) thanks :*

To be honest RAM speed is not important at all, unless you are doing very specific things with your computer... standard 2x4GB of DDR3 1600 (CL 9-11) is more than adequate for almost any computer.

What are you planning this computer for?

Here, this might help : http://www.techradar.com/news/computing-components/best-ram-10-memory-kits-reviewed-and-rated-1085281/2

And honestly, all these memory kits is a good choice. I'd go for the Crosair 16gb kit, provided in the link. It's 4 sticks, though, but i don't think you'll be using that much memory in the future. Even 8gb's will cut it for regular use- gaming, internet... etc

AMD FX 8350, ASUS GTX 770 DirectCUII, ASUS SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0, CORSAIR TX 750, CORSAIR VEANGENCE BLACK 8GB'S 1600Mhz, Hyper 212 evo, Aerocool Strike-X GT, Crucial M4 128GB SSD, Seagate Baracuda 2TB, Asus CrapReader

Well honestly, ram is ram. For me, I just went with ones that will suit the aesthetics of my build (vengeance pro's).

but yes, any set of ram (8 gig, 16 gig) 1600 MHz is the best option. corsair vengeance, or maybe rip jawz! to be honest, the most important thing id that it matches your color of the motherboard! :P
