Hello world! I just created my account in LinusTechTips and I wanted to introduce myself and also ask for some help.

Well, I am a 22 year-old programmer and gamer, and I'm an all-time Windows user. The only programming language I know is Visual Basic and I use Visual Basic 6.0 to build software (pretty old I know). Recently I haven't been playing too many videogames but I'm trying to catch up now. Also, once in a while I design some graphic stuff (not too often though and mostly icons or wallpapers to match my gadgets and windows themes). In my free time, whenever I'm not in YouTube watching videos, I'm usually messing around with programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Blender (among others but those are the main ones).

But the major reason I'm here is because in just a few days I will have enough money to update my rig and I wanted some advising on how to do it myself. Mostly technical details and what motherboard matches with what components, I already have some knowledge on how to build a computer I just don't know how to make "a good mix". Since I don't know if this is the right subforum to post such questions I not going to go too deep into what is my budget or what I actually need the computer for. However I would appreciate if someone can tell me where to do so.

And I think that is it. I am a man of few fords. Any help is welcomed. OHH, I almost forget to clarify the cheesy title (lol). As you might see, my nickname is NkName (soo original ;) ) but my real name is Mario ,and, you know, I'm gamer, Mario... game. Ok, I think you get it, bye.
