Hey guys,

So recently i have been monitoring my cpu temp and i have found some weird things (not sure if they are normal). So I am using a stock AMD heat sink on my A8-5500 and i under-clocked it to 1.4 GHz and just browsing the web with Skype open (not signed in), CPUID open, and catalyst control center open it is at 49 degrees Celsius. When i put it to 3.4 GHz and run Prime95 i t reaches as high as 88 degrees. Is there a problem or do most A8 processors run this hot? Thanks.

That's some pretty normal temps. Prime 95 is meant to get your cpu to its max load, i.e. high temps.
