2 pumps?

Hi, I'm looking at buying a 900d in the next week or 2, and then I'm going to slowly order parts to watercool.  Awhile back I asked about how I should do my loop but I wanted to follow up and confirm.

I'm going to get 2 480mm rads, top one will probably be 60+mm thick, bottom one maybe under 60mm.

Someone suggested I should run 2 pumps, is this right?

Also is the pump linus used in his ultimate watercooling guide a good pump to use in this big of a setup?

If you are referring to the Laing D5 Vario pump (there are multiple rebranded variants, but this is the OEM model), then yes, it would do fine by itself. Get a flow meter too. If one pump isn't giving satisfactory performance, you could always get another one.

The Swiftech MCP655 (without the b suffix), is a rebrand of the Laing D5 Vario. This should do fine. Try using the procedure in my previous post.

Also, I would suggest changing your title now that you have over 500 posts. I had "Junior Member" as a title too, but I removed it. If you like it though, you might as well keep it.
