GTA V Thread

Go to solution Solved by NeatSquidYT,

I JUST GOT AN EMAIL BACK FROM ROCKSTAR! Apparently, a quad core is a must have.

It's happening comrades, GeForce just released a new driver update for the mildly anticipated game in question.

Hmh yes. The few threads on the subject do seem to indicate a lack of enthusiasm I must say.

They're all about "WIll my PC run it?". This is more, let's talk about what it could be like, and talk about it when it's out.

Its out today and it will be like GTA V on the PS4 but it will look better.

Pretty much, you can enter into private lobbies with mods but as soon as the game starts GTA will just crash instantly. The lack of mod support online was really the only thing I hated about GTA IV and is why I never really played online, because every time I wanted to play with friends I either had to re install the game or restore it from a backup, which took ages.

Agreed, they will have to find ways to regulate modded servers though, otherwise people will just use scripts to spawn any car or weapon, or even fly which could make playing on a modded server not much fun at all. Even if they don't have modded servers, I will probably just play online until I get bored and then just spend all my time modding in single player.

That is why for gta 4 i made copy of my game folder and placed it elsewhere, then modded the copy, and had a shortcut for it saying "Modded GTA 4".

That actually seems like a pretty good idea. Are you using the steam version or the standalone?

Oh, I don't know...

Saint's row? (:

I feel so alone. I hate Saint Row. I said it. I just find it to be GTA with crap gameplay and an even crappier story. Not to mention the world.

Also, nope. E.T. For PC Kappa

What? That's a lot, what stuff do you put in there?

Steam games, music, movies, random mods for games, and some old Fraps and shadowplay videos that take a lot of space xD.

I could easily get +200GB of space if I deleted those Fraps and shadowplay videos though.

The stars died for you to be here today.

A locked bathroom in the right place can make all the difference in the world.
