G1 gaming is the best one

630W is enough

Hey

I want to buy a new gtx 970 graphics card and i will put in on an msi z97 gaming 3 board so i have two questions

1-which brand should i get? Gigabyte or Msi ? In my country they are the same price and i don't care with the sound i need only the performance and good quality

2-will the Thermaltake smart se630w be able to run it with an overclocked i5 4690k?

Thanks

follow your topic...

the G1 gaming is a LTT favorite, but the twin frozr is pretty good too.

the best 970 is the 980 though.

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

If sound isn't a problem, Gigabyte G1.

And as @pomaranc said, 630 W is enough.

Basic guide to CPU's!

If I said I were 14, you would call me a kid. If I say 70, you’ll entitle me too old. If I say 20 you say I’m inexperienced and if I say 40 than I'm too boring.

The only time you will have to care about the brand is if you are going to overclock it heavily or want it is silent as possible.

I usually recommend something that fits with the colours of your rig.

Any bigger brand is good, MSI, Gigabyte, Asus, EVGA etc.
