  1. My Honor 9 lite just updated to Android 9, after the phone restarted it asked for SD card password, which I never set. I tried to put the card into PC, but it won't get recognized at all. I have seen found post from other people in other forums having the exact same issue with Honor phone as well, but all the replies are people reporting that they have the same issue as well :/ I have a document I really need to recover in that card, I could swear that I backed it up, but being the dumbass that I am I must have forgot to do that.
  2. So I am currently making panel based on 737 MCP for FSX. Something like this but a lot worse ...anyway I barely know anything about this kind of electronics so I need some help picking the right parts. I will be using arduino mega, MAX7219 for the 7 segments, now I need some buttons, flick switches and rotary encoders. The buttons should be momentary but I guess toggle would work as well, ideally I just need one with LED inside so it will light up when it's on, I guess there would have to be independent LED on the momentary one or something. What kind of voltage and current do I need them to be? (Yeah I really don't know sh*t) Also I am not sure which rotary encoder is best for this use. Do I need any external power? Any help, recommending exact parts or just general advice is greatly appreciated. BTW I am planning to buy mostly from aliexpress.
  3. I really liked the design of previous EVGA cards, this one is just fugly IMO
  4. the upgrade from 970 to 1070, should I do it? I will pay what I get for the 970 + 150€
  5. My friend wanted to build a new PC with 960, I asked him if he want's my 970 for 960 price instead, he said yes. The thing is that he wants to build his PC in like a week so I would have to use integrated GPU for a month and pretty much commit to getting 1070. Usually how different are the prices released by nvidia and actual prices? Although I guess this year it will be a bit different with founders edition and stuff so pretty much just write down your guess and opinions
  6. I was watching some videos about VR and simracing and about how VR is so much better than triplescreens, so I decided to get triplescreen setup. Why? HTC vive is way over my budget and I realised I could get 2 monitors similar to what I have for 10x less money, actually even a bit less than that. However the issue is I have pretty old monitor, it is 1920x1080 19'' and it only has VGA input. It is old version of ASUS 288 model. I managed to find newer versions of ASUS 228 with HDMI and DVI-D for about 40-50€ Would they work with surround together? I have seen some people with more mismatched monitors than I have getting it to work but still, I want to be sure. Also could the fact that I will be using DVI-I -->VGA adapter on one monitor cause some issues?
  7. Well it doesn't really matter ,pick the prettier one I guess, but if I had money to burn I would go for something more unusual, at least some interesting colour scheme
  8. 60 is good, you don't really need a new cooler. If you are going to get one though I recommend CM212 and you need to apply new thermal paste (comes with 212) but 60 is good.
  9. 970 is almost twice as powerfull
  10. 970 or 390 are both good choice, 970 has lower TDP and some nice nvidia features but 390 has more VRAM and raw power. But don't forget that there are some settings in GTA V that almost nothing can handle, but with those few settings of you will get 60+ on 1080p with both.
