Hi, I wanna ask. If I wanna paint my graphic card I must use paibt for high tempetures. Is nvidia stock skin. I paint it into black but geforce green logo and gtx 980 logo I wanna paint into blue and in my country I cannot find any blue high tempeture paint, so can I use nirmal color in can? And is possible to paint gtx 980 logo?

If you're talking about the reference cooler, you can use something called plasti-dip to paint the card and not need to worry about it. Painting it is very easy, just get some masking tape to cover sensitive areas and things that shouldn't painted and give it a few light coats until desirable.

Always trying to find reason.

do not paint the PCB. take the card apart and only paint the plastic cover.

why couldn't you paint the gtx980 logo?

take masking tape and cover the entire plastic part except the 980logo and paint it blue, then cover the 980 logo after it dries and paint the rest of the plastic black.

also, engine enamel paint is high temp paint. look for that if you can't find an alternative.

infact, engine enamel paint might be better because it contains ceramic particles for heat dissipation. you might even be able to paint the heat sinks with it.

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

first of all would not suggest it i would find a high temperature paint and second yeah probs if you have a steady hand    :)

I don't have too much experience with reference coolers, but i highly doubt their exterior gets much above 40C, so i dont see why other more forgiving alternatives like plastidip would not work (you can peel it off when you want to/ if you mess up)...

yes, normal color will be fine for your plastic bits, they will not get any hotter than room temp.

however you might want to also prime it, otherwise it might flake off after a while.

Do you know how many coats with high tempeature spray and how many with non-hightempeture spray?

one of each should be fine if it's a spray.

see if you can get some plastic primer. if you can't i'd say do two of the normal paint. still only 1 of the high-temp paint.
