What will skylake be?

Go to solution Solved by Prastupok,

NO if they made an unhyperthreaded 6 core would it be better at heavt gaming and recording with light streaming than a hyperthreaded 4 core

Doubtful. Any they won't make a 6 core on the mainstream platforms... I'd bet money on it.

If there is a hyper threaded 4 core like 4790k then would it be better than unhyperthreaded 6 core from Intel at heavy gaming and recording and light streaming. Does anyone think that Intel will make an unhyperthreaded 6 core just trying to find out how powerful hyperthreading is and whether or not most programs and games know how to use it?

Slow yourself, young padawan... Broadwell first. Then we'll talk skylake.

Some are already speculating Cannonlake.

I know. And it needs to stop. Just like the 390x. It's not out, so theres no point in talking specs and pretending we know what's going on with them.

Ok then asking about now which would be better a hyperthreaded four core or an unhyperthreaded six core?

That depends on what you're doing...

They make unhyperthreaded 6 cores? When?

And if you talkin bout AMD, a hyperthreaded 4 core is better then any FX 6xxx or other variants

Lets all ripperoni in pepperoni

k just wondering since setup for 5820k is way more expensive than 4790k!

Enthusiast parts cost enthusiast prices.
