my nice little build

hey this was my first time building a pc on my own

 

intel i3 

gtx 970

corsair vengeance 8gb ram 

msi gaming 5 mobo

corsair 550v power supply

 

but lol i had few difficulties the gtx 970 did not fit in the case i needed to cut of the tray where u put hhd with a saw

 

but pretty happy able to play at a solid 85 fps on battlefield 4  (44C at idle max temp 58C fans never run)

and is dam silent can hear it at all 

 

so what do u think of the build ????

Looks pretty nice, I would have gone for a i5 though, would make a big differance, what res you getting 85fps at?

Honest opinion here : Poor choice of parts.

Overpriced motherboard and that PSU isnt exactly "safe".

But it looks sick! :D

First upgrade needs to be an upgrade to i5. Trust me, the difference will is amazing.

Few things

1) Fix your cable management, it is dreadful

2) You should of went for a bigger case that would have accommodated your GPU length

3) If i was you i would have selected a I5 and a GTX 770 or an R9 280 instead of the 970

4) Would of went with an EVGA PSU or a Seasonic PSU.

Very nice.  Don't listen to the complainers, it's a good build and the i3 is totally fine.  It's a shame the GPU didn't fit without having to use a saw!  Not a big deal though - that's how you learn  =)
