Hi guys

I'll keep this short and sweet. My Beats Tour 2.0 earphones broke yesterday, and I am very sad about this as they have been quite remarkably good headphones. So now I am getting a refund and I need some suggestions for a pair of *really* kick ass headphones.

I mostly listen to post-hardcore, metal, and idm/techno (if that matters)

I'm looking to spend anywhere between £120 (the cost of the Beats) up to £200 (If they're damn worth it)

I must stress, I don't want over ear headphones as I'm not trying to make any stupid fashion statement. I just want some seriously good ear-phones with a lot of bass, and great sound reproduction.

My first thoughts were the Shure 315's but I'm concerned that they will lack the bass that I seek, and also I want something that is going to sound notably better than the Tour 2.0 rather than only very slightly better.. :)

I'm a bit of Sennheiser fanboy (Haven't had the chance to try other brands :P )

But there's these, the IE60s

Only £120. I've heard good things about them and I own a pair of IE80s which have blown my mind. :)

you young-ins with your wub wubs and bass drops. back in my day, we were appreciative if we had clean audio.

specifically speaking, i do like my se215, they are not bass head, they dont do the wub wubs but the sound feels quality. my friend has the se315 but he wont let me stick them in my ears.

SE215 is pretty bass heavy IEM. Most people are secretly a bass-head, otherwise why would the dark sounding LCD-2 becomes the most popular hi-fi audio gear

i would say there is a difference between hitting frequencies and making your ears vibrate. my v-moda are bass heavy and can and will make your ears vibrate.

Just so true noting to be ashame about loving bass it's about finding the headphones that give that rumble but don't ruin all the rest of the experience.

I opted for the RHA T10's ... they arriving tomorrow. Thanks so much for your input guys. It appears as though I am in for an incredible step up in sound quality from the Tour 2.0

Not in my experience. Maybe the Blue LE version, but the standard 215 is warm at best.
