The essential apps?

What are the essential apps for my Android smartphone? I have an LG G3.

The ones I can think of are Google Maps and that's really all I can think of.

I just use, what I need - Chrome, Gmail, ES File Explorer, QuickPic (replacement for stock gallery), Timely (alarm clock), Swiftkey and Sygic

A barcode scanner (for QR codes), a good file explorer (I use ES file explorer), a good video playback app since the default one may not support all video formats (good ones are vlc and MX player), maybe another music playback app.

just curious are you asking in terms of what you can uninstall with root? like what apps you should leave on the phone? or just our opinion on what's most important to us? sorry.
