Seems ok to me thus far...very repetitive though, but I also just started. Glad the driving seems improved a bit. (Even if its only a tiny bit)

Its not so much a rip off as it is a spin off. Its using all the core features/engine of Sleeping Dogs.

I will say its not what I was expecting from an online Sleeping dogs there seems to be 0 direct player interaction, which is a bit of a disappointment...

Oh oops sorry, I thought this was a different developer

In that case it looks even more disappointing, considering it is considered sleeping dogs 2/sleeping dogs online or something

I wouldn't call it sleeping dogs 2 lol not by a long shot. its framework is very much sleeping dogs through and though. The only refinement I see to any core mechanics is some slight driving tweeks.

No, but plenty of websites and wikipedia etc have it explained as "the next instalment in the sleeping dogs universe", a pseudo sequal I guess

I understand its a spin off, shame really, I would have loved a proper sleeping dogs 2 even with a different setting

  • 2 months later...

Been a couple months on this but I was about to pretty much do a re-post until I actually searched. Now, onto the questions at hand. Triad Wars personally is a fun game. Though not meant to be played daily or else you do get kinda bored of it. I just started the other week with a friend getting me into it. It is essentially a Sleeping Dogs spinoff.  The pork bun guy is there so it's in the same city in a way. Although I do wish there was a real multiplayer. But it is a fun "mobile" game that is way better than a mobile game for the fact that a majority of the things in the game are intractable. Though I wish I could enter that night club. ;-;

The woes of not waiting to buy a GPU when new releases hit soon.
