Posted April 6, 2015 Hey, I'm looking to buy a graphics card that will be able to run gta 5, shadow of mordor, skyrim etc. on 1440p ultra settings at 60+ fps. Which card would you recommend out of the 970 and 980? Will the 3.5 vram fiasco affect me gaming at 1440p? Posted April 6, 2015 For 1440p 3,5 GB VRM is fine (well I have no expirience with shadow of mordor). When you have the money go with two GTX 970, if not get a GTX 980. But for 1440p I'd say 980 if OP wants to stick with housefire woodscrews team.
