Nvidia shield tablet or the Asus ME 572

      My nexus 7 is on it's last leg so I figure time to get a new tablet. I mostly watch youtube, surf the web, watch movies, and play a few apps. I've narrowed it down between the Nvidia shield tablet or the Asus ME 572.

      From what I've read the Asus is basically a newer nexus 7 which seems good to me since the nexus is such a good tablet but haven't had any hands on experience.  I'm wondering does anyone have it and can recommend it?

     As for the shield, I'm not a mobile gamer so I won't being using it for any of the game stream stuff, but I like it since it's so poweful.  Do any of you own it and use it just as a regular tablet?

      If you don't own either and just feel like throwing in your opinion I'm all for it.

If you're not using the SHIELD's game streaming features, just get the ME572. It's an excellent tablet for the price, and what basically would have been the 3rd-generation Nexus 7.
