Remove scratch from phone camera lens?

So I have a light scratch on the camera lens of a Lumia 822. I'm pretty sure its just aesthetical and doesn't affect performance however I wanted to get it off. The Zeiss lens on this $50 phone is probably just glass or plastic and not gorilla glass so would scratch remover take it off. Its just a small scratch...

I'd be careful with any type of polish or scratch remover since those lenses usually have a coating on them and if by polishing you can take off the coating which may affect the cameras picture quality.

Wondered about this, you can't see it in the pictures so I'm guessing its to thin and small to matter, its also off to the side so it may be pretty much out of frame.

I personally would leave it if it's small but if it's right in the middle and very noticeable then I'd give it a try since there isn't much to lose making the camera unusable.

i wouldn't bother with it and if you where willing to bother, be sure a professional grade shop does it, since doing it yourself has a huge chance of making it worse, even with the professional grade polishers, cloths and what not.

although the money they ask for it isn't worth it when it comes to phones(if they do these)

 

I would ignore it as long it doesn't affect your photo's, i know it's pretty hard to do, but it's the best thing to do. Got the same with a few lenses of mine, dirt got behind them somehow and it looks ugly and is quite annoying to the eye, although aslong it doesn't affect me(and i don't need them to earn money) it's far form worth it if you ask me.
