What is a basic programming language

Go to solution Solved by wolfsinner,

There are no basic languages.

The most common recommendation is C (it is also the most used language in the world). If you're asking what languages are the easiest to use (that is, are more beginner-friendly), then scripting languages are probably it (Python, Perl, Ruby, etc).

ok, here goes. What is the most basic programming language every programmer should know?

Ready,

Set,

GO!!
