you will only get 5-6 Celsius improvement over single fan in best scenario ,i tried with 2 3k rpm fans and second fan made no improvement at all but adding second fan (slower one) to stock fan of evo made 2 degree improvement under load and increased the noise 2 times over single fan

is it worth getting a 2nd fan for the 212 i know it comes with the mounts for it but is it fully worth.

 

i will be getting the cooler in a few days and would be wondering for future upgrading would it be worth it.

 

another random question how far can i push the fx 6300 with this cooler.

What motherboard do you have? I have the ASUS m5a99x evo R 2.0 and i can only get 4.2 so far (I have this cooler:http://www.amazon.com/Rocketfish-RF-UPCUWR-Universal-CPU-Cooler/dp/B0030U9ET0) and i get good temps at 4.2.

 

You could probably get away with 4.3-4.5 depending on your motherboard

i recommend buying a second fan... as long as you remove the stock one...

rly push pull only increase noise and doesn t improve temps enough to be worthwhile.

replacing the stock fan tho is a good idsa if you find it noisy atm as many aftermarket fans can get close to the same performance with less noise.

Has anyone put a fractal 120mm fan on a 212?  I'm looking to do this as my current arctic cooling fan is wimpy.

Basically, if the fan is strong enough to push the air through the heatsink, adding a second fan will give little to no improvement.
