Posted April 2, 2015 http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/gGKVycI want this build to be able to run bf4 on ultra on atleast 60fps no problem, I was thinking to get a GTX 970 X2 in that but not sure, I WAS also thinking about getting a I7 as I might want to start making videos in the future. At 1080p a 980 is a little overkill, heck even a 970 is more than enough for 1080p 60 on BF4, why not look into 1440p monitors? an I7 would help in rendering video and also if you decide to stream etc Desktop - Corsair 300r i7 4770k H100i MSI 780ti 16GB Vengeance Pro 2400mhz Crucial MX100 512gb Samsung Evo 250gb 2 TB WD Green, AOC Q2770PQU 1440p 27" monitor Laptop Clevo W110er - 11.6" 768p, i5 3230m, 650m GT 2gb, OCZ vertex 4 256gb, 4gb ram, Server: Fractal Define Mini, MSI Z78-G43, Intel G3220, 8GB Corsair Vengeance, 4x 3tb WD Reds in Raid 10, Phone Oppo Reno 10x 256gb , Camera Sony A7iii
 Posted April 2, 2015 What processor would you add but not trying to overprice things and maybe a 1440p monitor? what kind Honestly it depends on your budget, 4790k is a great processor, or get a 4690k if you want to go down the i5 route cheap 1440p decent monitor, maybe sometihng like the AOC I have the Q2770PQU or Asus PB278Q, whichever is cheaper - there are some 144hz 1440p TN monitors and also, IF you have the cash, 1440p IPS 144hz Gsync panels - though they are not cheap..... Posted April 2, 2015 aren't IPS monitors not good for gaming? Where did you hear that?, they have slightly slower pixel response rate, but have better colours and viewing angles Unless you are a professional CS:GO player, I would rather have a nicer looking game, I can still come top of a 64man player BF4/Hardline server on my AOC 1440p 60hz panel the new Acer is only about 3ms slower than the ROG swift - an almost impercievable amount and a worth trade off for more accurate nicer colours and wider viewing angles Desktop - Corsair 300r i7 4770k H100i MSI 780ti 16GB Vengeance Pro 2400mhz Crucial MX100 512gb Samsung Evo 250gb 2 TB WD Green, AOC Q2770PQU 1440p 27" monitor Laptop Clevo W110er - 11.6" 768p, i5 3230m, 650m GT 2gb, OCZ vertex 4 256gb, 4gb ram, Server: Fractal Define Mini, MSI Z78-G43, Intel G3220, 8GB Corsair Vengeance, 4x 3tb WD Reds in Raid 10, Phone Oppo Reno 10x 256gb , Camera Sony A7iii
 Posted April 2, 2015 CSGO LEM player here lmao It's entirely down to your perception, if you feel you want to eliminate every single potential bottleneck for your performance, getting a TN Swift means you are getting a very very fast monitor instead of just a very fast one I am sure there are many players playing on super slow crappy monitors, and you probably manged to get where you are on a much worse display Some people just wont notice it, Dont forget, you cant turn off Gysnc on the acer and enable ULMB at 100hz, so you get basically NO motion blur - great for fast moving shooters it also has one of the lowest latency values on TFT Centrals tests - dont forget pixel response rate (the monitors MS rating) is not the ONLY lag - there is also input lag there are some 1ms displays that have 4 to 5 ms of input lag! You can see it compared to the swift here http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/acer_xb270hu.htm Desktop - Corsair 300r i7 4770k H100i MSI 780ti 16GB Vengeance Pro 2400mhz Crucial MX100 512gb Samsung Evo 250gb 2 TB WD Green, AOC Q2770PQU 1440p 27" monitor Laptop Clevo W110er - 11.6" 768p, i5 3230m, 650m GT 2gb, OCZ vertex 4 256gb, 4gb ram, Server: Fractal Define Mini, MSI Z78-G43, Intel G3220, 8GB Corsair Vengeance, 4x 3tb WD Reds in Raid 10, Phone Oppo Reno 10x 256gb , Camera Sony A7iii
