i have a psu that even brand new had quite the bad 5V rail and its just 80+ (corsair calls it 80+ white on some places) from a brand i have never heard of  and is from around 2008 xD but hey .. its 750W :P

Ive seen them as low as £250 a few times, but then ive also seen them more expensive than 6700k's. I hate how much the prices change.
