Downloadable version since it could always be recovered if it gets corrupted while a DVD version can not be recovered.

Doesn't matter really. ISO can be made into a DVD and vice versa.

Sure it can, data can be copied no matter the format of storage.

Do not  as I  do, and  not  as I say. Instead do as you may..

I've never seen or heard of someone rebuilding the data on CD/DVD  that has its data corrupted.

Actually doesn't matter. If you have a valid key, you can download an ISO from microsoft.

I know that if you have a Vaild Key you can download an ISO from Microsoft, that's nothing new.

Take into consideration that the OP might not want to be burning a new ISO on to a DVD every time the old disk gets corrupted or scratched to the point the drive won't read it.

If it's the same I'd get a physical copy just because. You can always download the ISO or upgrade tool from the MS website regardless of if you have dvd or key already.
