i want to upgrade my CPU and MOBO 

from this spec:

 

ASUS P7P55D
Intel® Core i5 CPU 760 @ 3.4GHz‏
Antec H2O 920
RAM: G.Skill 2X4 GB F3 @ 1333
MSI Radeon R9 270X OC
Corsair VX550W
KingStone 120GB 
2TB HITACHI 
Dell E2213H

 

 

to 

Intel Core i7 4790K 

Gigabyte GA-Z97X

 

friend of mine said that i wont see much difference  in gaming 

i play mostly ARMA 3 and BF 4 (which is correctly deleted for the favor of arma 3 in the ssd) and the planning to play GTA V i am very picky in my games

If you're just looking for gaming performance a 4690k will be enough.

Mmm, yeah in BF4 and Arma you should see a difference in upgrading the CPU.

Both those games like threads/cpu's in general.

 

Do you only do gaming though? If so, go for a i5 4690K.

And upgrade your GPU. (because getting an i5 will save you some)

Depends on where you live.

If you're in a region where they use the €, it's probably not that smart to wait  even longer.

GPU's are getting more expensive here.

I'm not sure if a 4790K is worth it over the 4690K if you only do a bit of video editing

in israel the prices are NEW ISRAELI SHEKEL but becuse is imported is priced at $ which mean each USD is 4 Israeli shekel (for now)
