My Personal Problems with NVIDIA

This thread is not ment for it to be a AMD vs NVIDIA Faboi war it's just a few problems NVIDIA could/has to work on before I consider them again.

 

#1.Looks

NVIDIA cards are dem ugly. Specifically I'm talking about the EVGA cards.I only buy from the companies that are for one side like

EVGA to NVIDIA and Sapphire to ATI RADEON.You know you can't give in.just look-

We all know that Sapphire one looks better.

#2.Lies

Really?Did you have to NVIDIA.If your going to lie at least cover up your lie.It makes no sense.Why would there be 3.5GB issue like a few weeks after 970 release date.If there would be a orikem it would form the beginning right?At least show since you are already lying show that your trying to fix it with random driver updates that do nothing

#3.Idiot Item Creations

You dumb asses made A FUCKING 4K CONSOLE THAT SUPPORTS 4k.Like really?I thought we were all #PCMASTERRACE

I understand making powerful mobile chips and all but a console?That's to far.

Well.. this is interesting.

 

I shall address these in the best manner I see fit.

 

1. Subjective.  Nvidia has plenty of partners that do a variety of GPU designs, honeslty some are not great (Green MSI GTX 970) IMO, but frankly I think it's silly to say Nvidia has worse aesthetics considering so many different companies make Nvidia cards.

 

2. True

 

3. ...? I don't see how making something exceptionally powerful is bad at all?  I see no issue with pushing the industry forward

 

4. Again..?  Also, wrong "to", you meant too.

1. Looks are somewhat a matter of personal opinion. You can't say that AMD's cards look better when not everyone agrees. The VaporX cooler still looks ostentatious to me, and the only appealing AMD cooler design in my eyes is XFX's Double Dissipation.

 

2. Because AMD didn't completely throw off the consumers in 2007 when they created their own TDP rating system for their CPUs called ACP. The numbers weren't accurate compared to TDP numbers, which more accurately showed max power consumption since ACP was based off of everyday usage.
 
3.The TITAN Z is for a certain audience. And it's definitely not for people like you, who seem to do nothing but create threads to cause disrest.
 
4. Because AMD's CPUs and GPUs definitely didn't appear in the original Wii (GPU only), the Xbox 360 (GPU only), PS4 and Xbox One. And NVIDIA kind of built it for PC gamers, considering it can stream PC games from a GTX 600+ powered PC or GRID.
 
Can we not have threads like this please? They just tend to litter this place completely.

Dem, luk at 4ll of AMDick's cards. Liek srs? 250W TDP foar R9 290X? And le ref cooler maeks it opurate at 95C lo4d. Cum on guise.
#2.CPU performance
Srs, like teh FX sex-tee three hundrid is worse then en ifree for gaymin.
#3.Idiot item creations
What the fack were dey thinkin with FX neindeefievneindee? Liek make all de FX 8 coarz woers binned cuz of it nd requir le aquacooler.
#4.Cunsole
Neega plox, liek AMD mek de CPUz n GPUz foar Shitbax Uno and le Penistation foar.

I'm going act like this isn't a troll post. 

 

1. If you're buying a card for looks, then it's personal preference. Plus, their's more Nvidia cards out there than EVGA. 

2. 

3. You come on with a better name (even though I sortof agree) 

4. IF that was the case, they couldn't power the cars they are in, nor the mobile phones they are in too.

Looks are subjective. I would actually pick up the EVGA card because of its simplicity, though I wouldn't mind the Sapphire card if I got it at the right price tbh.

Ugh, this bullshit.

 

So AMD can get away with saying the R9 295X2 is an 8GB card? Not for now, at least, only 4GB is usable. That's a bigger offender in my book (NVIDIA does it too, in all fairness)

Isn't this console designed to also stream games from your PC to your living room TV? Pretty sure it is.

 

AMD also designed and produces the chips inside the Xbox One and PS4, I would say AMD is even worse on this.

The blue is okay, have you seen the yellow one? Terribad. I solely got the EVGA one for how it looks. The sapphire ones you can't really pair it with any color except blue or white color schemes or else it'll look like cheap China junk. On the other hand, the EVGA one looks sleak and simple, you can pair it with anything, its like a gun metal black, you almost have no trouble pairing it with any color scheme. This is solely my opinion, no hostile harm to be done :D.

1# Agree, I like Rad cards over Nvidia, Sapphire > All cards :P

 

2# True they will have a lot of people with trust issues due to that little incident but won't completely cripple their reputation

 

3# Agree to an extent, TZ was not meant for people who use it JUST for gaming it's more of a Quadro turned GTX

 

4# Don't care, stop caring about things that are rustling you this badly...Ignore it.
