So I hear kind of a wobbling sound coming from a fan. I believe it is one of my CPU cooling fans. I know it isn't either one of my GPUs because I tested them both. It sounds like it is kind of wobbling or something inside is loose. Is there a way to fix this? I can make a recording of it if that is needed too.

A recording would be helpful. Maybe the fan could have broke and it's barely hanging on. Maybe something got in there and you are hearing it as if it's wobbling. Go into the guts of the PC and check it out there.

Ok thanks. I will make a recording when I get home. Probably in an hour or two. Well no matter what do I need a new fan?

You might. It depends on what exactly is going on. I can't say for sure now. If you can tell it is damaged, yes you will need a new one, if it isn't you'll need to look more into it and most likely won't.

Okay that helps. Sounds like it is loose and rubbing against something. Get some compressed air and blow everything out and try again. Could be a small rock or something in there (I have no idea why a rock would be in your PC though..).

Yeah I just go off roading with my PC sometimes, mudding on the side. But could it be a piece of broken plastic from a fan the broke in my PC? Yeah that happened... Oops.

Could be. Take out the fan and see what you can find in there.

I haven't taken them out, but now it kind of sounds like air seeping into a water loop... Like my CPU liquid cooling... Could it be leaking ever so slightly?

Could be, but I doubt that was the cause of the previous noise. If you have Skype add me. The info is on my profile page. It's much easier to voice chat so I can explain it

If he finds the problems solution, be sure to add it here. It will allow others whom may have the same problem to know what to do. :)

Okay. It would be cool to have sort of a database for all issues that are on here.

That's what the search bar is for lol. I was just saying if you meat him via skype and fix the problem... :)

OK now this is starting to scare me, I noticed a new sound (like a hissing sound) when my CPU is running at my overclocked Mhz (4.2). What the hell could this be...
