The i5 4440K doesn't exist, the i5 4440 exists but "K" means unlocked. The only unlocked Haswell i5s are the 4670K and 4690K.

Now we have that out the way, the answer is i5 4440. Best platform (feature-set and boards, LGA1155 can be hard to get hold of). FX6300 isn't even in this contest really.

Yep current gen intel beats all amd hands down they are getting on 5 years old now and fx-6300 was never that good anyway fx-8300 will struggle to beat out much intel nowadays.

Defo get the i5 and if your not going to OC then don't get the K version as it cost more for no benefit.

What do you need these numbers for?

The i5 4440 is the fastest out of the box, but the 3570k allows you to overclock it. The fx 6300 is really out of its league here, it should be compared with i3s that are in its price range.

Whatever you need this for however you shouldn't be considering the 3570k. It's for an older platform and although performance is similar, you shouldn't buy it in place of a new cpu. If you need overclocking get a 4690k or at least a 4670k.

slow down with the generalization here ;) price must be taken into account and on the lower end of the spectrum amd is actually VERY competitive.

At least all FX amd, yes the newer APU's are ok for low end but only good value for a very specific area then i3+GTX750/R9 260 would be better. For high end amd is history a shame though.

The FX 6300 still holds pretty good value for its price actually. Games are not the only thing a computer is for.

The op did specify gaming performace in multithread and this is where intel is best by far but if your not gaming then FX-6300 is probably overkill as cpu will not affect day to day pc usage as much as ram/ssd would, heck even a FX-4300 would be fine for most stuff just not heavy usage but for price/performance FX-6300 is very good but kindof pointless as too weak for games and overkill for other tasks.

but guys why 3570k was expensive or high in price than the 4440 at the current price?

its like 50$ difference

Because it is basically the 4670K/4690K of the previous generation of processors. The retail price doesn't get reduced when the next gen comes out. The 3570K is honestly even with the i5-4440 out of the box, or better if you overclock it... but Z77 boards can be hard to come by these days.

the i5-3570K is a stronger part than the i5-4440 because it can be overclocked and outperform it...but the motherboards cost a lot of money nowadays that's why you should stick to haswell i5 if your building a new rig.
