1.1 Update Better Performance?

After re-installing the launcher and the 1.1 patch update, I have noticed that my FPS had gone up significantly. 

 

I was used to ~30fps on medium (i7 3770 and HD 7870), but now I can do the same on high settings.

 

Anyone else notice this?

These threads always confuse me because there's no clear indication to Star Citizen when you come from the most recent posts.

That's nice though, I've heard the opposite of the newest patch. That it has freezes.

But I'm gonna try tomorrow. Downloading the update at night because of shitty internet speed.

Heh, I spent from 1pm Sunday afternoon to Monday 3:15am downloading the update. It was the worst experience of my life T_T

Sadly I only have 7 Mbps download... I used to have 76 Mbps, but I moved.

Took me about 2 hours off and on and from what little time I played on it, there is an issue with the multiplayer games but yes it runs better in single player

That's why I put [star Citizen] in the title when posting topics here, maybe other should do it too? *nudge*

 

While I can't test this myself, it's nice to see that it run a bit better than before

Looks like I am the black sheep here. In Vandul Swarm Solo, before 1.1, I was getting average 50fps on my 290 (High/1080p). Now, after 1.1, I am getting average 30fps and major lag spikes. Whenever there is an explosion, new targets coming in or at random times, the screen freezes for a second and then resume. I've looked around RSI forums and it seems that I am not the only one experiencing these issues since 1.1.

 

The loading times however have much improved. It is nearly twice as fast to load the hangar and a Vandul Swarm in Solo.

It took me about 40 minutes to download the whole thing. I was surprised that now they have better servers(or I was lucky, I started to download one day later). I didn't noticed a FPS increase(around 40 fps in AC), but I noticed that two times both my monitors went black for a few seconds.  Also people are saying about loading times  improvements but I didn't noticed that one either. I still like the update, and can't wait for 1.2 to try that 0-G FPS.

Wait a second. the settings actually do things for you? consistently across a few computer the only setting I see make a lick of difference is resolution.
