Pc won't turn off correctly

Hello i have a problem when i press the power button on my pc or on the start menu all of the parts turn off except my HDD can some on plz help!!

Uhh. How does it not turn off?

Just 1 light stays on or it still spins?

 

A hammer can help you with this issue, it can turn your HDD off so good.

Sounds like a MB issue?! Have u changed anything recently?

That is quite strange.. .. IF the motherboard is off IDK why the HDD still spins.

How long has this been happening?

How long has this been happening?

for ever i recently had a problem where i cloud not open a single game be it steam,from a disc,pirated(ashamed).and after a weak of yelling at the pc it magically ow yea and i upgraded from a 350 W PSU to a 400W PSU but i had the same problem with the old one the only way i can turn it off is if i make a hard reset
