So, we all know how successful the NZXT S340 has been with so many people assembling PC builds with it and even modding it, like @Syraz with his Doctor Who themed S340, but I know many of you who also own the very popular NZXT S340 could suggest some significant changes that could be made to this quite aesthetically pleasing case to greatly improve it somewhat.

I know the one change I would like to see would be to have the back of the case closed off like the S340's bigger brother, the H440 and maybe a white interior version of the case just so you can see inside the case better when building or upgrading an S340-based PC build, but also for aesthetic reasons.

The more important question is, though, do you guys think that NZXT will create a 2.0 version of this case with knowing what people would like changed? I realise that they've gotta keep within a certain price bracket for this case, but I personally wouldn't mind paying an extra $10 - $20 to have these improvements implemented in a second revision or version of this case.

What're your thoughts guys about this, do you think NZXT will create the S340 2.0, if so, what improvements would you like to see specifically?

I could only think of 2 improvments.

Make the top panel higher quality coated. Literaly screwed a fan in with no force and a little from the coating popped off.

Make the grid+ the default fancontroller to the case or at least add an other simple way to controll the fans. I know this case is target at budget customers so they will go for a budget board with less fanheaders. For example my board only has 3 sysfan and they are badly placed. Looked odd.

As much as I want one it's not worth it, my H230 is a similar size and is more functional in terms of drive bays, etc

except i really love the PSU shroud

More fan slots on the top.

And improve the hard drives cages/add more, because I heard they weren't that good/enough.

All of those improvements would be great if they were implemented in a second generation S340.

The s340 isn't first-gen. There has been Source cases in the past.

Yeah, I am aware of this mate, I'm just indicating that improvements could be made, but thanks anyway. :)
