Currently running a 4670K on a (well that was a mistake) Z87-DS3H board (was looking for a cheap board) with a Scythe Ninja 3 cooler (running stock 3.4GHz at room temp on idle ~25-33C mostly) and I wanted to OC it so I thought since I want to mod the case and everything I'd experience with a custom/AIO loop.
My case is the NZXT Phantom 410 and I wanted to do some black/white mod with a larger side panel (maybe add a bit of yellow, want to do some sort of Alan Wake theme so light vs darkness with the torch symbol on the window, so maybe a yellow streak for a flashlight beam)

First plans were to get the MSI Z97S Krait edition (black and white build) and a first GTX 980 (instead of my current 770), replace my HyperX Beast 2400MHz ram with a Klevv Genuine 1600MHz (I'm running the memory on 1600 anyways since it failed on me once at 2400 and I had to replace it, plus the Klevv looks awesome) and get a Fractal Kelvin S24 since A. it looks awesome, both pump/block and rad, and B. since it has G1/4" fittings that I can use to extend the loop to a GPU (which I was planning on doing afterwards).
Recently I started thinking about it more into depth (that is actually thinking and doing some research rather that just daydreaming) and I don't think there's any chance that I can run a cpu/gpu combo with just the S24, so I thought that instead of just adding a res/pump combo or just res (I don't think the S24's pump will do in any case on it's own for that matter) I'd replace that with a custom loop (that'll probably end up being more expensive but I think I can deal with that).

So - first question: Will the S24 pump be enough if I add a reservoir to it to cool both CPU and GPU? Current plans are to get a 5.25" dual bay res.

Second question - Just checked and I should have 3cm clearance between the bottom of the Phantom 410 top mount and the mobo. Technically, it will barely be seen since my PC is under the table anyways (although I am planning on possibly getting a new desk and placing it on the desk) so first - will the 3cm thick fit with the mobo if I install it before the mobo (probably going to be a tight fit anyways) or should I just install it on the top.

If I'm going to go with a complete custom loop my current plans are to get the EK DBAY D5 res/pump combo, EK Supremacy EVO White Edition and either XSPC EX240 (regular or crossflow on the top of the mount and fans on the inside in a pull config) or the XSPC AX240 (since it looks better and is available in white). The thing is that the EX240 are very limited in stock (not in production anymore as far as I understand) but are about 50$ vs the 100$ cost of the AX240.
Anyone has experience with the Phantom 410 and 30-35mm thick rads? And what are your suggestions for getting it/any other pump/res/block for a custom loop?

Thanks :D

I would buy a D5 pump for a custom loop that has that many components in it. I rebuilt my S24 yesterday and the flow rate is not very convincing (even though its better than almost all other AIOs) and CPU+GPU+radiator+res+maybe more radiators is going to be too much for it.

Right, but I mean its quiet and it has good flow.

I was just adding on, that a d5 is not loud

The res I saw on the EK store says it has a D5 pump included with the res
