Well my friend is building an extreme build and he wanted to check over it but couldn't do it him self for some reason, anyway ill get to it

His budget is about £2500 to £3000

and he plans to do gaming and possibly video rendering, editing ect

I7 3770k quad core- He plans to over clock these to 4.0 ghz to 4.5ghz

Corsair k70 rgb brown switch / red - He is stuck between which one is best for him as he like light clicking but not enough to write out an essay in one sweep

Use a current-gen X99 setup why use last gen?

And just 2 970's?
