Hi,
Im looking to get a new storage drive as my ssd is now full i will be storing all sorts on it such as games, photos , music ect i dont have much of a budget so could you guys help me choose between these two?

which would perform better is it worth getting the black eventho its 1tb less?

All I use are blacks and I've never had any issues, and some are 4-5 years old.

Plane and simple if you wan't reliability go with the Caviar Black and if you want performance go for the Seagate Barracuda. Go on any benchmark or performance forum and I guarantee they will say the same.  If the small performance increase doesn't matter to you but your data does I'd recommend going with the Black.

barracuda should be faster and blacks should make less noise. what do you want? I'd get a barracuda.
