970 SLI, or sell and get Titan X

runit3

I'm interested to see how stacking vRAM will work with the 970. Will it use one card's vRAM, then overflow to the other? If so, the last 500MB could still be an issue.

Just go and crush my dreams why don't you

Two 970 are way better than a single 980. 3300 CUDA cores vs 2048.

Did you just try to use tech specs to argue something is better? Though you are right, 970 sli is better than a 980, don't EVER try to say "oh well this has more cores so it must be better". Thats like saying my q6600 beats a i3 4370 because I have 4 physical cores and it has 2 cores with hyperthreading.

CPU: INTEL Core i7 4790k @ 4.7Ghz - Cooling: NZXT Kraken X61 - Mobo: Gigabyte Z97X SLI - RAM: 16GB G.Skill Ares 2400mhz - GPU: AMD Sapphire Nitro R9 Fury 4G - Case: Phanteks P350X - PSU: EVGA 750GQ - Storage: WD Black 1TB - Fans: 2x Noctua NF-P14s (Push) / 2x Corsair AF140 (Pull) / 3x Corsair AF120 (Exhaust) - Keyboard: Corsair K70 Cherry MX Red - Mouse: Razer Deathadder Chroma

Bit of an AMD fan I suppose. I don't bias my replies to anything however, I just prefer AMD and their products. Buy whatever the H*CK you want.

3328 vs 2048, not 3300, jeez

get ready for freddy of you want to battle m8.

Nobody should ever ask here for GPU buying advice, especially when it is top tier vs mid tier. OP get the Titan X. it's baller.
