T-Mobile Bringing Rollover Data to Prepaid Plans starting 3/22 (This Sunday)

A couple months ago, T-Mobile started rolling over data on their Postpaid plans. Starting this Sunday, March 22, 2015, it'll also roll out to Simple Choice Prepaid users as well. They're even giving you an extra 10GB for you to start with. I'm not sure if this includes the very popular $30 plan that has 100 min, unlimited text, and 5GB LTE. If data rollover is also added to that plan, it's going to be an even more incredible deal.

Now a T-Mobile announcement notes that the company is bringing the same option to prepaid customers starting Sunday, March 22.

According to T-Mobile, all prepaid voice customers with a qualifying Simple Choice plan will be given 10 GB of 4G LTE data. Once used up, prepaid customers start rolling forward their unused data for use "up to a full year," says T-Mobile.

"It is flat out wrong to repossess something your customers have already bought and paid for," insists T-Mobile marketing exec Andrew Sherrard. "That’s like the gas station emptying unused gas from your car each month. You buy something, you should have a chance to use it. Period."

Well, seeing as I don't ever get near my 5GB limit, it's no big deal for me. I do love paying only 30 bucks a month.

That's awesome! Although I've moved on from T-Mobile prepaid and onto another service that runs off of T-Mobile's network. But hey, paying only $50 for unlimited LTE (with no throttling), so woo!
