graphic's card for AMD based system

Go to solution Solved by OmarCCX,

Can't beat the 7850/7870 for the price. For $200 I'd go for a 7870 Ghz Edition.

Yeah the Never Settle Bundle is over, but they still come with Crysis 3.

Hi i've been looking at video cards for my system and I have no idea what to choose but I have been looking at a Zotac GTX 560 on NCIX.com it's cheap and is on most reccomended specs for games. So my question is should I go with a GTX 560 for my AMD build or something else. Suggestions

CPU: Intel I5-4670K@ 4 Ghz, Mobo: Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H, GPU: Gigabyte GTX 780, PSU: EVGA 850W Gold, Case: Corsair Spec-01, HDD's: 120GB boot,1TB games,2TB storage, Optical Drive: Generic DVD (Writer?)(occasionally), Misc: Avermedia Live gamer HD, random wireless card my father had(Occasionally)

I would probably go with a 7770 and overclock it to beat the GTX 560. If you don't like overclocking, I would just get the GTX 560.

$100-$200

For $200 I would recommend the Asus gtx 660 DirectCU II and if you would want to save up an extra $50 the Asus gtx 760 DirectCU II would be a better option

I would save up $40 more and buy a GTX 760.

if that's not an option then go with the GTX 660.

Four games with the AMD card is hard to pass up.  Especially, when you are on a budget.

Get a 7850/7870. An overclocked 7850 can beat a gtx 660 and is much cheaper.

Get 7850/7870 and the overclock it. Come with free games too.

Is there a specific brand you would suggest

The never settle reloaded bundle is over to the best of my knowledge.

Sapphire gpus tend to be pretty good imo since they have unlocked voltage which means that you can overclock it at much as you want if you decided to put a water block on it.

I really dig the HIS IceQ cooler. It's about as quiet as the Asus DC2 cooler, and it exhausts the hot air out of the case.

Here's a comparison with noise videos.

I have a GTX 560-ti and I can't believe you're accually considering a 2 year old card for a new gaming system. It's no match for a modern 7870, especially if you could dig up a 7870 XT for 200-220$ it would be a killer deal. I hear they overclock like stink and beat even the 760.

I recommend a 7870.

well the reasons I was thinking of going for the GTX 560 non-ti is that it was cheap and had a good price too preformance ratio and is recommended for most games of todays market and I wasn't to sure if PCI-E 2.0 could handel the bandwidthof a PCI-E 3.0 card let alone a GTX 700 series card like the other comments were telling me.

7870s sometimes go on sale just under $200, comes with 4 games too

Yeah, and looking at the games, I'm tempted to buy one. Already have one XFX DD, another for $190 on Newegg is really not a bad option.
