Would that be better than if i pay a little extra for a razer kraken pro and keep that and use it long term?

Well I would never buy a Turtle Beach again the sound was awful and the mic about the same the Kraken seems to have good reviews I would go for the Kraken tbh.

PS:Yes I know people hate Razer but its no need to start bashing them if their product may infact be better in this case...

Ya, i think i might just spend a little extra and use them long term.

I had 2 turtle beaches..... never.... ever..... ever shall I ever.... own another turtle beach.

if I had to buy a cheapass headset I might go for a plantronix

I feel obligated to still push to recommend a dedicated headphone plus mic over any headset options.

I just need it for like a month or two and then i will get a better one.

On serious note: save money, buy something over 100's, it will last you longer than buying 50$ headphone. So please do.

I need something now, hence why i said, i need something short term then i will get something better later.

technically, anything at that price pretty much sound the same(since u asked for decent quality, they all have low quality...). so looks for aesthetics then. i think Youbetternot just answer it for you.

yea man, in audio worlds, price usually justify the quality(not all the time tho). but Specs are also key to indicated what you need along with headphone.

I dont expect anything from 50$ headphone really. might just as well grab 10$ headphone and saved that 40$ for next alot better headphone.

like AKG Q401, HD595(now HD598),HD600(with sound card please.)

I do have hd595, using it for 5 years now, once u hear great headphone u wont go back.

Also, headout to http://www.head-fi.org to get review from people who have experiences with actually products[NOTE: lot of people there dont even know what they are hearing and talking about. only afew is truly understand audio world]

aren't you the one who is already complaining on all the what games are you going to buy threads about how poor you are?

save your cash. don't buy a shitty headset... and especially don't buy a shitty "gaming" headset just go all hobo and use your earbuds, buy a cheap mic like a zalman clip on for $7 or a desktop mic from the dollar store and use that for the 2 months instead of wasting money on something shitty for only a month

it is really a good point. we are living in consumerism era. they want you to buy more just because you could afford something that cheap. if you want something good , seriously , save it up , u wont regret after you own a product that was design to be a good performing product not just to 'have' it and look good but shitty inside(lots of headphone are like that, including gaming series which sells feature n looks. not really about quality....).

If you need something just to last a few weeks/months before you get something nice to last you a long while, just get the cheapest thing that works.

Seriously.
