New PC Build (Which One Should I Go With?)

Hi Guys,

Would love your opinion on which system build to go with. I've already done a fair bit of research on hardware but could still use some more input. The intended purpose for the system will be for video editing (so I'm leaning towards the 5820K for the extra cores) but I will be gaming on it and I do love dat 4K, plus recording/editing music and general uni work stuff. I'm after speed and reliability, like if you want to suggest a part that would be more reliable or less likely to fail then please do. Was going with water cooling for cpu but I heard the fans on the Corsair H series are quite loud and you get a fair bit of dust on the radiator (going by one of Linus's videos) so I changed to air cooling...(oh and any other suggestion to keep pc cool would be awesome and dust free....I won't be O.C).

Here's the question, Which one Should I go with (See Below)?

CPU
Intel i7-4790K vs Intel Core i7 5820K ($472/$539)

MSI GeForce GTX 980 Gaming 4GB
RAM

HD 1 (Main)
Samsung 850 EVO Series 1TB SSD
HD 2
Western Digital WD Black 1TB WD1003FZEX
Power Supply
Corsair HX750i 80 Plus Platinum 750W Power Supply
Blu-Ray 1
SATA Blu-Ray Writer LG (OEM)
Case
Corsair Obsidian 450D Mid Tower Case
O/S
MS Win7 Home Pro 64 bit
Wireless
TP-Link TL-WN881ND Wireless N PCI Express Adapter
TV Tunner

CPU Cooling

Total $3209 Vs $3616

Thanks in Advance,

Chris :)

PS. I'm from Aus so that's why prices seem higher :P

....I tried to keep description short but feel free to ask any questions.

x99 Is probably the video editor's platform of choice at the moment so I'd probably go for the 5820k. I don't know if i'd write of the all in one cooler however. nepton 240M's have been getting decent reviews. and honestly when I run my computer silent, although the pump is the noisiest part of the build it only registers at 40 Db. (basicly quiet enough you can hear it if there's no other noise) edit: Corsair H100i here.

Hey Betabot, most of the prices came from pccasegear.com. I just took it from that site but I'll probably static ice it before I start hunting for parts ;).

Thanks for the info Slightlyjaded :), yeah I was thinking the same thing. Sweet I'll read up on the Nepton 240M.

Just from the experience I had building mine Ramcity is pretty awesome for the memory parts ( ram, and storage). And pcbyte, although it get's good reviews has massive problems delivering cutting edge components, and will screw you around while waiting for a shipment to arrive.

Ahh cool, I'll check them out thanks :). Yeah might stay away from pcbyte if they have dodgy components, don't wanna have to change parts later down the track.
