What do you think is better and why? 360 Total Security or Kaspersky Internet Security

Hi, I'm just wondering what you all think of Qihoo 360 Total Security and Kaspersky Internet Security 2015

Who do you think is better and why?

 

I'm on the side of Kaspersky, what about you?

 

Looking for things like:

* CPU Usage

* Ram Usage

* Performance Hit

* Detection Rate

* Personal Experience (If any)

I use Eset Smart Security, love it tbh. It gets decent reviews but also its never missed a beat for me since V5 (when I first bought it), its now on V8 BTW.

Out of the 2 you listed I'd go Kaspersky. I used that in the past and it never let me down.

Never used 360 total so can't comment on it.

The first one is a Chinese company and reading the reviews about it... it seems really good, it uses 4 antivirus engines 2 of its own.

For free AV you should either get Avira or Bitdefender.  Bitdefender is more lightweight, but it doesn't give you many options in terms of control or how it works.

 

If you want a paid one then either Bitdefender or Kaspersky.  I would probably go with Kaspersky just for the fact that their team has found a lot of security issues in the past.  You can also check out AVTEST, a third-party company that rates AVs.  (Bitdefender and Kaspersky are the top 2)

I agree with the top part and Qihoo 360 uses those 2 engine (bitdefender and Avira) as well as 2 of their own

I use Norton 360 ("live" protection) + Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit (free - for added browser protection) + Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (free version for computer scans)

I have used nothing since AVG decided every .exe file on my computer was a virus at the end of 2008 on XP and denied me access to restore them, kind of left a bad taste in my mouth. I haven't had a single issue since but I install malwarebytes every year or two, run a scan and uninstall. I'm the only one who uses my 2 (or 10, depends how you count) computers however.

 

Common sense 2015 edition is more than enough for a single user, just remember to install it on yourself and not the computer!. (I'm joking, you may have a legit reason for needing it.)
