new headset ideas

Hey guys. I'm looking to get a new gaming headset as my turtle beach px21 just died. I'm looking to spend $200 maybe up to $250. I'm in Australia aswell.

Was looking at the Razer 7.1 headset

Maybe corsair h2100.

Would like some recommendations cheers

You can get good headphones and good mic for summ $200, the quality will be far better, than any headset, especially when talking about 'gaming' stuff.

AudioTechnica AT2020 + whatever you have left, spend it on some decent headphones

If you absolutely must have a headset, even the original HyperX Cloud is still amazing but on the "higher end" of your budget you should take a look at Sennheiser G4ME Zero (closed) and One (open).

It's trerrible. All headsets are terrible except for the Kingston.

Yeah i think i may go for the kingston heatset, just saw Linus's review plus the store around the corner has them in stock and they are also the cheapest, plus they have the case i want there to.

So I grabbed a set of the kingston Hyperx clouds yesterday arvo when I got my corsair air 540. Spent 6 hours or more gaming with them. They are comfy and sounds pretty good.. I'm was impressed with all the accessories they came with.
