Realtemp

Go to solution Solved by LapX,

If you don't have it, install 7zip, it's really great and free. I use it all the time. Chosse the .exe non-beta download. http://www.7-zip.org/

With that installed, put the zip file you downloaded in a folder you will create, name it whatever you want but it's easier to fin if you name it RealTempGT.

Then, right click on the zip file and choose extract here.

Let the process finish itself.

Double click realtempgt.exe

???

Profit.

unzip it?

EXE is not there. please do not talk to me that way

Please then post a screen shot of the unzipped folder.

You probably can't realize which file is exe, due to you possibly having file extentions off.

Not really wanting to get off topic or argue here but what exactly do you need 7zip/winRar for? Honestly Windows Explorer/File Explorer works just fine with zips and everything. For .tar.gz's on windows and .rars i can understand I guess, but I've havnt seen one of those extentions used for windows since.. heck a long time..

I didn't know you could open zip files natively.

Yea, that was the problem, how do I turn on file extensions?

Control Panel > Folder Options > 'View' tab

Make sure 'Hide Extensions for Known File Types' is unchecked, as shown.

Yea, zips are fine, but 7zip is good for other bits of compression like rars.

7zip has become popular enough that I even see .7z files from time to time.
