Am I the only one that's considering buying that new crapbook air and installing Windows? Don't get me wrong, I don't like ios and talk about overpaying let alone an $80 adapter just to have more of the very basic ports... But God Damn that is one good looking peice of equipment....

theres no point

the hardware in it is crap

just buy a nice dell or lenovo ultrabook...

Yeah, XPS 13 is a good option for a premium, but more usable PC.  Also, the Thinkpad X1 Carbon is nice.  Both have touchscreens and far better specs, well not screen; but the screen is so small I don't really see the point of that massive resolution.  

 

And no, it looks really nice and cool.. but at the end of the day it's just far too impractical for my liking.

There's no reason to buy it.

 

Even if you wanted a gold ultrabook, Asus has one. With proper ports.

Yes, not the best decision that Apple ever made. :rolleyes:

It's basically an iPad with a keyboard + trackpad attached.

ON A 7 MONTH BREAK FROM THESE LTT FORUMS. WILL BE BACK ON NOVEMBER 5th.

The Apple appeal is working on you. Get that super tiny Dell laptop linus just reviewed and paint it white. That way you get USB PORTS INCLUDED WITH PURCHASE

 

The xps 13 does indeed look like a very good option, I am considering it myself.

I assume you're taking about the new MacBook and not the MacBook Air, correct?
