There is really no reason to get a membrane kb especially at that pricepoint.

I know you don't want to be asked, but why not mechanical?

If it absolutely must be a membrane keyboard, the Logitech G510 might be a good option. It is essentially the K50's main rival at this point.

http://gaming.logitech.com/en-ca/product/g510s-lcd-gaming-keyboard

^Lots of macros, great Logitech software, and a highly well known respectable gaming keyboard.

However, I really am curious. Why not mechanical? They last much longer, feel much better to type on, and are just much more satisfying.

My Build: Intel Core i5 2500k @4.8GHz, MSI GTX560ti Hawk, Asus P8Z78V-Pro Gen/3, 8GB Mushkin 1866 RAM, Corsair H100, NZXT Tempest

I dont like the feel of mechanical keyboards. Dont ask why as its not something I can explain, I just like how membrane keyboards are.

I just like the feel of membrane more then mechanical and I have tried many types of switches however I just dont like them. Everyone has their differences, this is mine. I have to explain this every time which is annoying. Its the same with Pc cases as some people like simple cases and others like bold cases and then there is raidmax and the one guy that brought one of their cases.

Well that's understandable. To each their own. So if membrane it must be, then the Logitech is for you.

It's so new, I doubt anyone here will have tried it so far. Is it even available in the UK yet?

Either way, there isn't much distinction between membrane keyboards. It'll be as good as every other membrane keyboard, the profile keys will probably be shallow and clicky and the volume roller will probably be smooth with some amount of resistance. Other than that, it's as good as you can see it is.

the volume thing probably will not be used as i have a volume wheel on my rat 7, im gonna spend more money on my build. I guess im lucky that way.If the strike 7 price or the strike 5 price drops to £100 or less then that will be the way to go.

So long as you're aware you'd just be paying for gimmicks. You could get a small monitor (instead of a 2 inch OLED display) and a Thermaltake Knucker for that much.

Ima stick with my bog standard dell keyboard which does the job.
