CPU Fan help! Will it fit/work?

I was thinking, I will be doing all from videoediting to gaming, after checking things out I feel like that cooler wont be enough.. and scrap that 'as cheap as possible' part. I want something that keeps my cpu together. Maybe not a coolermaster h100 for 100$ but still why not. Any suggestions?

The NH-D14 is about $80 or less and performs much better than a hyper 212 evo. Its also a very quiet cooler that you can overclock on.

Okay so I basically bought newa motherboard, CPU and 2 RAM sticks but realized when putting it together that my old CPU fan doesn't fit, noob mistake. My Motherboard is an Asus X99-s and is a LGA2011-v3 Socket.. and I want a new cpu fan. I want it to go as cheap as possible.

And another question aside; does a LGA2011 CPU fan fit in my new motherboard? I researched a little and found out that it "might" fit but I'm not sure since it was a very vague answer. Any help about this is greatly appreciated.

I am definetly checking this one out! Thanks!

But I kept looking.. Will https://www.komplett.se/intel-air-cooling/656313 fit? It's all in Swedish, I apologize. But it's a LGA2011 socket. NOT LGA2011-3 which is what I have.

any cooler that fits 2011 will fit 2011-3

+1 for the Hyper 212 EVO, pretty good cooler for the price and it's not that expensive to begin with.

Noted! :D

Just realized, will the Hyper 212 EVO be able to keep my new i7 5820 cool enough?
