Should the inside of my block be peeling?

20150308_015201_zpsoxcgakwz.jpg

Now granted it's a cheap LTX EK block I ran with my 5ghz G3258 but I've never seen that happen before.

no...

it seems like something is corroding your nickel plating

i suggest you replace your fluid with something from a diferent brand, and if you can afford it replace as many parts of your loop as you can, starting with the tubing and finishing with the blocks and radiators

Should it be doing that? No. Should you be worried? Not really. Its just the nickel plating, which is cosmetic for the most part. It does look like it was peeling by the seal, which shouldn't be an issue, but I would run a leak test before installing it in a system.

That loop had a killcoil and biocide. It was a distilled water loop. Just found it today whole I was cleaning the block. Was thinking about using it with my quad loop till my supremacy arrives but I'll just stick with the H100

Are you 100% sure it was distilled water?

Those look like the stains sinks / showers get in them from hard-water stains.
