I wanted a system that had a bit more power, so I made this.

 

  • Intel Core i7-5930K OC to 4.7Ghz
  • Asus X99 Deluxe
  • 32GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 2666 C15 DDR4
  • 2x Gigabyte G1 GTX 970's
  • Corsair 750D
  • Corsair H100i
  • Corsair HX1000i
  • 2x Adata XPG SX900 512GB SSD's (RAID 0) 
  • 2x Crucial M4 512GB SSD's (RAID 0)
  • 2x Western Digital 4TB Re Drives (RAID 1)

I have another kit of 32GB RAM, and another 970 ordered and should arrive next week. I will post a update.

but if you got it for free then i guess its fine

I work for public education, I get all windows operating systems for free. I choose windows 7 ultimate because it is very reliable. The performance difference between 8.1 pro and 7 is so minimal that I prefer the stability.

if you were buying it yourself you should have just gotten 7 pro, but if its free then whatever :P

Windows 8 is built basically the same. Which means same reliability.

The real only difference is that 7 will be discontinued soon.
