It is ok, though I would get a different PSU (this one is good) and a seagate barracuda. I would also get an IPS monitor over a 144hz one unless you are playing games like CS:GO. Asus motherboards are generally overpriced for what they bring, so I would get an MSI gaming 5 which will be at least as good (if not better) and costs quite a bit less.

Looks fine to me.

I was just curious as to what case you were planning on using however.

Corsair 700D. Its a mid tower and it has pretty good airflow.

I play CSGO a lot thats why i went with a 144hz monitor :). I wanted the Asus motherboard as i am gonna get a ASUS GTX 980 so wat da heck... It also has WiFi and i like its BIOS a lot more than MSI's. Segate Barracuda.... Sure i know its good but WD Blue is just as good!

Looks fine to me.

I suppose you're playing at 1440p?

Because a 980 is way overkill for 1080p.

I want to get a 1440p dispay but idk why but they are so rare here in India... There is currently only 1 option for me for 1440p which is a BenQ. If going 1440p i would rather prefer a ASUS over a BenQ.

Im currently playing on a iMac. :D derp derp derp

Yaaaay. India... because we have no partpicker for that.....

Anyway, for the 1440p monitor, have you taken a look at Dell's local site? Here in Brazil, I couldn't find any monitor either; but on the local webstore of dell, I got full access to their products, being sold in my currency, for about half the price I'd pay if I tried to import it. So... yeah. Go to the webpages of Dell, Benq, Asus, Accer and LG, and try finding it there.

The PSU is fine, why are so many hating on Corsair PSU's all of a sudden?

Is it fanboyism or did I miss some massive revalation that they break compenents. Cause I've been using a Corsair PSU for ages now with not a single issue. Baffles me.

Didn't mean to seem narky but I'm just curious as I've seen alot of people telling people building new systems to change their PSU's to e.g XFX and upping the Wattage for some random reason even though they've selected a (in my eyes) a great PSU that will power the system perfectly and be in the 80% usage band for the most efficient usage.

OP, give us a link of the store that you'll buy the parts from, and a budget on your local currency.

either flipkart.com or amazon.in

Sadly there is no way you can share this.... screenshots or maybe adding it to a wishlist and then giving the link... fairly complicated :(

What about (because it looks like you have the money) getting a larger SSD? You can get a 240GB instead of a 128GB for around £20 ($30) (1893.61 Rupee)?

CPU: i5 4670k @ 3.4GHz + Corsair H100i      GPU: Gigabyte GTX 680 SOC (+215 Core|+162 Mem)     SSD: Kingston V300 240GB (OS)      Headset: Logitech G930

Case: Cosair Vengance C70 (white)                RAM: 16GB TeamGroup Elite Black DDR3 1600MHz       HDD: 1TB WD Blue                              Mouse: Logitech G602

Ok, Those are decent points except that the seagate barracuda will be significantly quieter, so it is a better option.

It isn't that the PSU is bad, but the xfx one is fully modular, 80+ gold, quieter, and has fully black cables. Corsair PSUs are ok, but they generally aren't a great deal (except when any of them go below $30).
