Dual tegra x1?

Is it possible and if it is would nvidia do it in a new version of shield to make the console match the price of the current consoles but be too powerful compared to them

yeah its possible, they are using two X1s in their prototype car thingies

but they would have to reengineer the shield to take twice the TDP, and honestly with the small amount of people using 4k atm its not worth it

maybe in the future though, but then again they might as well make a single processor better than the x1 with lower tdp than two of them

I think TDP would be a problem, the X1 was touted to be 20-25W IIRC and most tablets are aiming for 5W max.

Ps4 has a tdp of 150 double the tdp of x1 it is still so less!

Ah I misread your post, I thought you meant double the console and then put the X1 in the tablet.
